Ankur Srivastava

Ankur Srivastava will represent UNITED-GRID at CIRED 2019 to be held in Madrid during 3th – 6th June. It is expected that more than 2000 experts and over 120 companies are going to participate in the conference event.

Why is CIRED an important conference?

– CIRED conference is one of the biggest events in the field of electricity distribution which takes place every two years at different locations in Europe. CIRED attracts worldwide participation from the entire community involved with electricity distribution, says Ankur Srivastava.

What will be the main focus for you and UNITED-GRID there?

– The main focus for UNITED-GRID in CIRED 2019 will be two-fold, firstly a poster-presentation for the paper (based on the work done in WP2) related to the development of a framework for the assessment of future-readiness of DSOs. Secondly, meeting and discussing ideas with the experts from academia and industry, could help in better understanding of the future challenges for distribution systems, says Ankur Srivastava.

How can UNITED-GRID benefit from the event?

– UNITED-GRID consortium members (Chalmers and CEA) will represent it at CIRED 2019. It would be insightful and motivating to listen and discuss ideas with different experts on the work that we are doing in UNITED-GRID, says Ankur Srivastava.
